I cut the strips to size and made a pattern with them. Then I further spiffed it up with the addition of copper wire. The result is a beautiful serving tray with a colorful all natural multi wood mosaic border. No stains or dyes were used. The colors you see are the actual colors of the different woods. With a polyurethane finish, best for dry foods only. For use with wet foods place a clear glass bowl inside. Hand wipe with damp towel. Do not immerse in water!
