The barrel contains two grub screws designed to connect your audio wire for a secure connection without the need for soldering. The sprung section of the plug creates an excellent and secure connection to the binding posts / sockets that are mounted on the speaker or amplifier. RED and BLACK heat-shrink tubing included to insulate banana plug terminations and to help identify channel polarity.
