Description EDGE Gold plated Spade Connectors, provides a convenient way to connect your speaker cables to the binding posts of your amplifier / speaker. Suitable for when traditional banana plugs either do not fit, or protrude too far from the rear of an amplifier or speaker, or when creating jumper leads when bi-wiring speakers. Spade connectors are attached to the end of speaker cables and provides a suitable connection to amps, speakers & wall plates (providing they all have binding posts). The binding posts securely clamps the spade into position making for a simple connection. Gold plating provides resistance to tarnishing and so helps achieve / maintain excellent conductivity for great signal transfer. The barrel contains two grub screws designed to clamp your audio wire for a secure connection without the need for soldering.
