Fine art illustration of a Collared Peccary or Javelina (Pecari tajacu.) The illustration is available in black and white or color. Artist’s notes: The Collared Peccary was completed on 12.4.09. Again, another cool animal of the deserts of the Southwestern US. While I’ve never encountered one in the wilds, I have seen them at the Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona. They make the typical little cute pig grunt as they wander around looking for food. The drawing is based on a photo by Warren Lynn.
